You can set up Life 360 to alert you when someone leaves/arrives.

Life360 definitely does this. My son set school as a place and I get a ding anytime he leaves school. Also dings when he leaves and returns to the house.

Find Friends and Find my phone merged into one app- Find My. That's what we use.

+1 life 360.. also let's me know when their batteries are running low. Their premium feature includes driving stats, like speed.

I often set a notification to be alerted when my son arrives at school. Tried it today and saw a message that "xyz will be notified that you created this alert". Is this new? I don't recall seeing that before this newest iphone update.
