Why aren’t my iPhone text messages going through to my daughter?

We both have iPhones. The last through texts I sent her have come back as an error. Also when I type her name in it shows as green instead of blue like it does for iPhone users. I just tried to text my husband and the message went through fine. Why is it only giving me trouble with my daughter?

I doubt it. But messages are still delivered when your phone is turned off.

She’s on airplane mode or on Do not disturb. Probably trying to conserve battery power.
