I'm a size 4 or so (depends on mftr) and 5'3"- I just bought gap jeans online and i don't know how their inseam can be so long but it's 31"- the levis fit better for petites bt I think I want to avoid low risers- i think mid rise- I'm curvy but just don't look good in anything (though so far those jeans do look good)..
Any brands that fit well and are flattering for petite women? somewhat fashionable? thanks! |
| OP here- i think i want mid rise since i still have post preggo tummy (though not as bad as earlier on) - so tight low rise look ok ubti feel that tummy bulge.. at least half of it could be squished in the pants- lol.. |
| I'm 5'2 and curvy (larger than a size 4), and I really like the Loft curvy fit jeans. A lot of petite lengths (I'm looking at you, LL Bean) are too short, and the Loft ones are just enough longer that they are perfect for me. I think they're flattering, and also they are mid-rise and good for the post preggo tummy. |

Any input as to flare bottom (but not exagerated) or boot cut as to helping with leaner/taller look?

I like 'seven' jeans in a 'short' size? They have stretch, and make my dumpy butt look decent
|
| Some of the "higher end" brands are making petites. Bloomingdales in Chevy Chase had a section of them. |

I'm 5'1' and a size 2 in jeans and found the DKNY soho a wonderful fit, tight at first but once they stretch, glorious, and the length is a bit long for me but I don't mind so it might work for you.
The express mid-rise jeans also work for me. |

Another vote for Ann Taylor Loft curve jeans -- I'm 5'1" and a curvy size 4 and they almost always work. They are $60 not on sale, but it seems you can get them for half price a fair amount of time if you follow the sales.
Caslon (Nordstrom brand) also has a good fit for me. I buy them super-cheap at the Nordstrom rack. DKNY also has a good fit, but I almost always need to have them hemmed. |
| Bloomingdale's is carrying Jag petite jeans and cords, which are also available at Nordstrom and Catch Can. They're great. |
