San Fran restaurants with kids

Headed to San Fran in a few weeks with elementary aged kids. We'll be staying near Union Square and won't have a car. Any good restaurants within walking distance?

If you eat on the early side I have seen kids at Slanted Door at the Ferry Building...the burger place there is also good Gott’s roadside. Also on the embarcadero is Plant Cafe which is casual healthy food. Tommasos in North beach is walkable. R&D Lounge on Kearny is Chinese. Dim Sum at Yank Sing. Along the Yerba Buena lane (next to the Four Seasons)...Delarosa. Uno Dos Tacos off Market. Trailblazer Tavern in the Sales Force building. Most of Union Square is tourist restaurants but if you expand out a bit you can find some great food.

We just stayed in Union Square, and there are lots of places you will be able to walk to. The Metreon at 4th and Mission St. has a number of restaurants to choose from. On the walk there, you'll pass by Ippudo, which has awesome ramen, but be prepared for a long wait if you go in the evening!

Have a great trip! We hadn't been to SF in years, and I was a little concerned about what we'd find, based on some of the things I'd read, but it's still the awesome city that it always was!
