| I’m looking for feedback on the half-day preschool camps offered through PG parks and rec, specifically at the largo/ Kettering/Perrywood center. Any positive experiences? |
| Both of my kids did the half day camp at Harmony Hall and they loved it. I wish it was all day. They have them doing something new every 20-25 minutes. Good activities and a nice staff but again I only can speak for Harmony Hall. |
| The PG parks programs are generally awesome. My kids have done swimming lessons, tennis lessons, Spanish,DH and I have had Ballroom dance. |
Lol this sounds like DH and I went to camp. I mean the classes are awesome so I assume so are the camps. |

Our experience with PG Parks classes/camps has been mixed. My daughters LOVE the Hands on History program at Riversdale Mansion. This is the third year we are doing it. My daughter loved the comic book class and camp she did at Montpelier but didn't like the Drawing Camp.
My younger daughter loves her dance class at Kentland but I have heard mixed reviews of the dance camp. The art camp at Brentwood also got a thumbs down from my kid. I think it really depends on the staff at the community center. |
| One of my children did summer camps at various community centers several years back. The specialized camps, like arts at Montpelier, are best. They did not do preschool camps. The experience does depend on large part on the place and the staff. Make sure your child has an awareness of basic safety rules, follows directions and can tell you about his/her day. |
