When you are shopping for a new car, prior to the test drive they ask you about your driver's license. Fair enough. They make a copy of it, okay too.
Then when the test drive is finished do you ask for the copy of the driver's license back since the process of test driving ended, and I assume it was for their safety and protection only so they held the copy of your DL hostage so to speak. Now what? Do you take it back to protect your privacy and vital info or are you obliged in some way to submit the rights to get it back? Never crossed my mind until someone asked me. Now I wonder. |

| Printers are capable of making multiple copies of something. If I were paranoid about a copy of my driver’s license being used for nefarious purposes I wouldn’t hand it over to begin with. |
