Uber/Lyft and express lanes in VA

In your experience, are drivers willing to go in the express lanes, especially with 3+ people in the car?

We have to get from fort hunt to iad during rush hour.

as long as they have a switchable transponder. why not..

Maybe just get a taxi. I imagine they’re more likely to have an EZPass Flex, and you can ask about it ahead of time.

I would be really surprised if they did not have it since they often have 2 people.

Taxis have no incentive to get you anywhere faster

So it sounds like people have been in lots of Lyfts/Ubers with drivers who don’t have ez pass flex.
