I am TTC and got a box of test strips from teh FSA store last year with my rollover money. Turns out I bought strips that have to be inserted into some computer to work?
But they also have a window to view the actual strip where there is clearly a control line and a light second line (I'm on day 8 of my cycle so a light line seems about right). Can I use them like regular OPKs? Will the line darken? Has anyone used these? Or should I go out and buy another box? The monitor to make them work is $100 so way cheaper to just buy some new strips. |
| I have that monitor and I never did figure out how to interpret them without it. |
| Just buy some new strips. That monitor was a waste of money for me. It never showed a peak. I got pregnant with #1 on the very first cycle I used cheapie OPKs, and with #2 on the 7th cycle, also with OPKs (I was able to time thing just right for all of those cycles, which I know because I also had a chemical pregnancy in those six months - the point is those cheapie OPKs are all you need.) |
| For posterity's sake, I ditched these and got some cheap CVS ones. And got pregnant! Good luck all. |
