Dexter Southfield elementary and middle grades

Recently moved to Boston and live close to this school and are considering applying next year. Have 2 sons and 1 daughter, currently in public elementary and preschool. Can someone give me an overview of this school, particularly the boys side? Older DS is sporty and bright. I know it is considered traditional, dress code, but are the academics strong enough to get into the top private high schools or boarding schools? I know the high school is newer, not sure how it compares either.
