Has anyone tried F45 training?

What did you think about it? I know there are locations on U Street, Bethesda, some in VA.

Yes! I go to the one in Bethesda 1-2 times/week and really like it. I do the cardio workouts (M/W/F); they also have strength-focused ones on T/Th, and hybrid on Sa/Su.

I like it for something different and I always get a good workout.

It’s fine. You follow along to videos and rotate through different stations.
Not much focus on form. Workout is more like 40 mins.
That said, it can be fun and a vigorous workout.

I find this really varies by instructor. Some are better than others about demonstrating and correcting proper form.

I've seen the same issues at similar studios. At any of the places that do a lot of different kinds of exercises, they don't tend to give you a good description of all of them. I have weight-lifting experience and good body awareness thanks to other workouts, but it's true that if you don't have those things, the workouts are less fun (and probably safe, although they don't have you lifting heavy weights or anything).
