FYI- PGCPS is instructing the principals that they will have to check in parents who want to walk their children to the classrooms to check in via the Raptor system.
Be prepared to have your photo id and a lot of patience because it is going to be chaos. |

| I think they have to, despite the inconvenience and the additional burden on the school staff. If they didn't they'd get an uproar on how unsafe the school is. Perhaps let the newest students in with a parent before the seasoned kids. |

| The addresses this at the BOE meeting last night and they clarified that the check in process will be relaxed on the first day only. |
