my husband and i loved the churrascaria (brazilian steakhouse) we went to in aruba years ago and thought we would try one of the ones here -- anyone have any experience with texas de brazil or chima? both are national chains... |
We have been to Texas de Brazil. We go probably once a year. Dh loves meat but I am not a huge fan. So, I feel it is a bit of a monetary waste.
The times I have been the service has been slow. It takes forever to have our water/wine glasses refilled. Do not go without reservations though, we have had to wait even with reservations! The quality of the buffet/salad items are very good. Thankfully, I LOVE cheese/bread and they seem to have quiet a few varieties. The filet is yummy. |
we went to texas de brazil last night-- i've never eaten that much meat in once sitting in my life! but the salad bar was fabulous and the meat selection even better! |
I prefer Texas de Brazil - it is the closest to what we have in Brazil.
I went to Chima once (in Tysons Corner) and REALLY didn't like the service, but they had opened recently. I plan on going back to give them another chance. |
you could try fogo de chao too.
for chima, they often email out coupons/specials so join their email list and it might be cheaper to go there. i like the atmosphere at chima. |
Fogo de chao in DC is great!
Chima is good...I don't like Texas de Brazil that much. *Best one?Fogo de Chao in DC! |
