Daycare in Arlington - NSF vs FDIC at VA Square vs Rosslyn Children

Anonymous

Currently, I have a 10 month old DD who loves being at her in-home daycare. I cannot be happier with this arranagement at this time - she seems very well cared for. But as she nears her 1 year birthday, I feel that she needs more structured curriculum of a big center. And, I would like her to be around kids her own age - now she has 2 other babies around her age at the inhome center and others range from 1-3 year old. We were offered a spot at VA Square Center but would really prefer NSF (don't know when we'll get off this list). Any feedback on any of the centers above (NSF vs VA Square vs Rosslyn children's)?

I have had my children at RCC for almost 7 years now and love it. Very well run, great teachers, great director and my kids love(d) it.

I do not have a child at NSF or FDIC (the Va Square one) but have toured them both several times and I honestly prefer the FDIC.

I find the setting a bit less hectic than at NSF, the playground marginally more pleasant, and just liked the overall feel a bit more than NSF. If it were me, I'd take it in a heartbeat!

I am looking for an in-home day care in Arlington. Would you recommend the place you are in currently. Can you give any more information about it?

I have an 6 1/2 month old infant at FDIC in Arlington - we've been there 3 months - and we've had a very positive experience. Can't speak to how the development/curriculm is for kids 1 and up, but we've been very happy so far.
