Where to rent a bike in NOVA

I want to buy a bike eventually, but think I need to try out a few to inform my search for a purchase. Are there places where I could rent a bike so that I can try different bikes?

Do a bike share like capital bike share where you rent a bike. See how you like it, note the brand if it's a good fit, then do some price comparison shopping.

Are you thinking road bike, mountain, hybrid, etc? Do your research, read reviews, figure out what you'll use it for, etc. You should have a good grasp on this.

Sorry, the CaBi bikes are nothing like the bikes one would buy. They are all one type, and are not available for sale.

OP should rent from a regular bike rental place. Bike and Roll in Old Town Alexandria rents, and I think a few other places.

Also most bike shops will let you try out a bike.
