hyperlexia & PDD-NOS at Kent Gardens

Anonymous
Anyone know much about their special needs program at Kent Gardents for high functioning kids? My son is 4 and in preschool-not sure if we will red-shirt or not. He reads, counts, adds, and has made major strides with expressive and receptive language, though they are still 6-9 months behind. He probably has some auditory processing issues which are even worse when he is anxious. He has some sensory-motor issues. He has friends, but definitely has quirky social skills. He's anxious/high strung, but does well with a warm and understanding teacher. He would do horribly with a rigid teacher.I assume he would be in a mainstream integrated classroom and I am hoping he will qualify for an IEP. HELP!

bumping this for you since I have the same question! My ds is also 4 but we are thinking of holding him back a year since I don't think he would be able to handle the large class sizes at Kent Gardens.
