Anyone familiar with the MoCo GT/LD program?

I recently went to an event sponsored by a parent advocacy group for moco gt/ld -- [e-mail]. They generally have events once a month with a speaker and the first hour before the speaker is "open" for members to speak with one another about issues they are encountering with GT/LD in MCPS and get advice from other parents who have been through similar. It seemed helpful.

Also, there is a woman employed by MCPS whose sole function is to focus on GT/LD issues. She is sort of the "coordinator" although that's not her official title. Her name is Marissa Stemple, I think.
