Kids With Special Needs and Disabilities
| DS will be in Pre-K this year and is sensitive to certain noises/sounds. It was suggested to me that I get him earphones or ear plugs for school. For those of you who have been in this situation, what works best? Any particular recommendations? Thanks!! |
| noise cancelling headphones (such as BOSE) work the best, but obviously are expensive and obvious. If your child is Pre-K, the peers won't matter. You might google what kind conductors (symphony) wear -- I know some have been recommended, but can't remember the name. This noise sensitivity is a real problem, but also difficult at Pre-K to get a child to take care of his/her own earphones. |
