Dollar Store HPT and OPK

I saw home pregnancy tests and ovulation predictor kits at the Dollar Store - that obviously cost a $1 - but was wondering if there was anything "wrong" with them. The expiration date was fine (2011).

Are the name brand ones more sensitive? More accurate? than the Dollar Store brand?

It seems like the biggest ripe off to buy the brand names when the Dollar Store sells the same thing for a $1. Am I missing something?

Dollar Store brand home pregnancy tests were all I used for my two kids. They were accurate both times I used them. I also could not see spending the money on the ones at CVS. I say go for it!

i think there are websites that tell you which tests are more sensitive. google it.
