nursing tops - what size?

I would like to get a few nursing tops for the hospital (i figure we will have lots of visitors) and I will likely be somewhat awkward with the whole discreetness factor. My question is what size should i get? before i was pregnant i was generally a size small - should i get a medium because I won't be actually back to pre-pregnancy weight? or should i get small? any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. thanks
