St. Joseph's in Falls Church City

Can anyone share feedback on St. Joseph's preschool in Falls Church City?

The few reviews I can find online are VERY mixed. The positive reviews are quite positive - loving teachers, good environment, solid education. Most of the complaints online say that the school is too "traditional" (i.e., expecting little kids to sit and do worksheets), but they have a new director and she tells me that they are moving to a play-based curriculum and more age-appropriate activities for the new school year.

I visited last week and I didn't *love* what I saw but I didn't want to run away, either. The kids seemed happy and the teachers seemed on top of things. The facility was a little old, but in good enough shape. It just feels a little disorganized, and while I liked the director's ideas and theories, she seemed unable to give me few concrete examples of how she plans to improve the school. But they freely admit that the school is in a time of big transitions, so I understand it, too.

Can anyone share personal experience?
