ISO great haircut and color in Silver Spring

I've been a redhead all my life but at 48yo, my original hair color is pretty much gone. Until a year or so ago, I was highlighting with good results, but that's no longer enough. It just looks like striped grey hair.

I've tried color in a few places with iffy results - nobody seems to understand what I mean when I say "natural-looking red."

Can anyone recommend a place in the Silver Spring/Kensington/Wheaton area?

Jessica Wilson at Alchemy Salon - near the trader joes on 29 - not cheap, but well worth the expense

Roxi, the owner, is fantastic, but it's impossible to get an appointment with her. Their products are number one in my book. And yes, it's expensive, especially for Silver Spring, but it is so worth it!

Another vote for Jessica at Alchemy. I didn't realize how crappy my haircuts had been until I went to her. She made me love my curly hair!
