Kid-Friendly Churches in the City of Alexandria?

Can anyone recommend a Protestant church in or near the city of Alexandria? I was raised in a fairly liberal evangelical Lutheran Church and would love to find something similar, though not necessarily Lutheran. I'm looking for an inclusive, active congregation with young families and a Sunday school option. I have a three year old and a one year old.
So far, my experience has been that the most active churches also seem to be the most socially conservative, which isn't our style. The churches that seem to be more on our wavelength are sparely attended and lean old. Appreciate any ideas! |

Look at some of the Methodist churches. Most in the City I believe are "reconciling" which means they accept all including LBQT people and families.
Another option is DC Metro church over in Old Town |
