Just curious because I had a MMC at 10 weeks last month. If you had a MC or MMC and didn't have bleeding as a sign... did your pregnancy symptoms change or go away before you had a D&C or actually passed the baby?
I had a sonogram at 6 weeks and even heard a heartbeat. All looked good. Went back at 10 weeks for another sonogram and there was no more HB. Baby measured 7 weeks 3 days and I needed a D&C. But in those 3 weeks I still had horrible nausea, heartburn, sore boobs, etc. Wondering if I somehow missed any signs. |

Yes my symptoms did go away. My Mmc started at 6.5 weeks, and I had the actual miscarriage at 10 weeks. My symptoms did gradually fade during that time, though I knew I'd lost the baby around 6.5 weeks. I was very strange walking around knowing that, but one morning I woke up and just didn't feel pregnant again.
I've since had two successful pregnancies, and the nausea is much worse compared to my MMC pregnancy. I'm so sorry for your loss. If it's your first pregnancy, it really steals your innocence. |
i had MMC at 10 weeks and D&C at 11 weeks. i had very strong nausea throughout but around 10 weeks (while i still thought everything was ok) i noticed 1) suden, crazy skin breakout, acnes everywhere. that never happened in my previous (successful pregnancies). i think it was a sudden drop in progesterone. 2) i still felt queazy but didn't have food aversions anymore 3) i had a very vivid dream that i lost the baby. i woke up, relieved

I had a MMC after hearing the heartbeat too. My symptoms did go down - substantially less nausea - in the period before the MMC became apparent. But I have heard that that doesn't always happen with MMCs. Sometimes the symptoms continue.
I'm sorry for your loss OP. |
| I had a MMC at 12 weeks. I didn't notice any loss in symptoms, but baby had just passed around 11.5 weeks. I wonder if I hadn't had a D&C right away if symptoms would have faded. |
| I had a MMC detected at 9 weeks. A heartbeat had been found at 7 weeks but it was a bit slow and growth was a week behind. Compared to my two healthy pregnancies my symptoms were much less pronounced but still there. I had them right up until the D&C (day after it was discovered there was no longer a heartbeat). It was weird but a relief for the symptoms to suddenly go away right after the D&C. |
