Clear Blue Ovulation Tracker

Has anyone used this and is it good? I'm 35 and had no issue getting pregnant 3 years ago. I didn't track anything, just had sex unprotected for a few months. The baby came at a pretty busy time for us professionally so we are trying to be better this time around when trying for #2. I bought this at the grocery store to track to see when I ovulate. So far I'm 14 days in and nothing. Could that be accurate? Has anyone used this tool before? Are there better ones? Even though I'm 35 with one child I'm a complete novice!

Do you have one with high fertility/peak fertility or one with the surge (equivalent to peak fertility) only?

I use the former and I found it pretty reliable. I usually get high fertikity on day 9 or 10 and peak fertility a day or two later. However my cycles are on a short side. How long are your cycles?

The surge one I believe. The one with the two lines that where both show dark during your peak time. Would you recommend one over the other? I have only started to track my cycles...I was on birth control for years and never gave it thought but it looks like it is around the 28 day mark.

It sounds like you should have gotten the surge by now. See how it goes for a few more days, maybe your body is still adjusting.

Personally I like the predictor that tracks both estrogen and LH. It gives you a day or two warning (high fertility) and also you are more confident both hormones work as they are supposed to.

Is it the same brand?

I would have thought so too but I haven't had much cervical mucus at this point. Last month, my first off of birth control I did, however.

Yes clear blue. It costs about 40 dollars and it has enough sticks for 2 cycles.

I used the $100 tracker (borrowed from a friend) and it absolutely worked for me - pregnant at 35 and 38.

OP here. I didn't use it last month and tried around the same time frame and listened to my body (cervical mucus and when I could feel ovulation) and I got a positive!

Is the one the PP recommending the Clearblue Advanced ovulation test kit? I am in the same boat as OP- first month tracking using the Clearblue ovulation test kit and am 15 days in with nothing. Conceived our first two within one or two cycles. Just turned 36.

This is the one to use! Worked for me twice (was pregnant second cycle after using this after 8 months trying w no success). Worked for many friends too.

ClearBlue Advanced worked great for me, better than the regular CB. Advanced has the high and peak fertility readings so you get more of a window and it's much more obvious if you're not ovulating or somehow missing your ovulation. It's $35 or $40 with 2 months of test sticks.
