DS looking at things out of the corner of his eyes

He will sometimes walk along a fence and look at it sideways out of the corner of his eye. Is this a stim?

Try reading Healing the 4 Childhood Epidemics. I just finished it but have already returned it to the library. There was a case study in there about a boy who would do the same thing. He also had other issues as well. It was in the first 1/3 of the book or so.

In my experience this is a stim. My son does it occasionally with objects. Does your child have a diagnosis?

OP here...no dx as of yet. Does your child have one?

It's just a sensory issue. If he does it with too much regularity and it interferes with school, friends, etc..then I would have it checked out by someone trustworthy - Greenspan, DIR Support Services, etc...otherwise I'd let it go.
