Indoor "Free" Gym

Does anyone know where one might "free" gym hours for kids wanting to shoot hoops, etc.. indoors? I know, for instance, in some Upstate NY locations you can go to the local YMCA and pay a small fee to use their facilities for an hour or two on certain days. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
