| Middle schooler lives next door to this woman and decides to tell entire bus about a quirky habit that the woman has (nothing gross or illegal). I am friends with this woman. Kid is the daughter of a popular teacher. What would you do? Tell her? Mind own business and let her continue to embarrassing my friend? Let freedom ring (first amendment)? Let karma do its thing? |
| Are you a middle schoolers? How do you know this? |
| Is kid doing it to be mean intentionally or does kid not realize this might be embarrassing? The kid's motive/awareness affects how I would approach the situation. |
| Can't answer without knowing what it is. DCUM rule. |
Two middle schoolers who witnessed it told me. You must be a lawyer, lol. |
| Give us the quirk or a good analogy. |
Come again? |
She sometimes makes an unusual sound when out in her yard. Guessing she's using it to call in a pet or chase off an animal. Nothing loud. This is a suburban neighborhood so its not like people are living on top of each other. Point being, kid does not need to share this with the entire bus. |
Omg. This is nothing. Myob. |
The kid should learn to mind her own business! I'll probably let karma do it's thing. Works everytime. I have faith.

That is way to boring for it to be interesting to middle schoolers. The sharer of the information will quickly move on to another topic to keep her audience better entertained. |
*too |
| Totally myob. How does it affect this woman at all if a bunch of middle-schoolers know that she makes sounds in her backyard. Don't go turning nothing into something. |
Bingo. The only way this will stay of interest to the middle schoolers (because this is a seriously boring topic) is if an adult makes an issue of it. |
