Khaki shorts, polo or button down and what shoes?

Just wondering what kind of shoes would suit a 10 year old boy who is going to a graduation ceremony at a church. He is going to wear khaki shorts and a polo or maybe a button down shirt.

Bucks or topsiders are perfect and what I see 95% of boys wearing around here for stuff like that. I've seen desert boots on a few boys, too, but those are not very summery.
