Suits, waistcoats, formal shoes etc

Where can I go for the largest selection of suits and formal clothing for my 5' 3" tween boy? I live in NWDC. Mall suggestions are fine; specific stores with good customer service would be much appreciated.

Nordstrom. They will tailor / make alternations for free which is key with that age group.

+1 on Nordstrom

For us, $$$ was an issue (5'7" 12 year-old growing like a weed) so we opted for Joseph A. Bank where they had a good sale. Alterations were an additional cost, though.
