| What are your thoughts on the M-NCPPC Summer Camps? In light of what recently happened at the one PGCPS school, I’m wondering how safe the M-NCPPC’s camps are. What is the screening process for M-NCPPC camp volunteers and employees? |

| I'm not clear on the specifics of the screening procedures anymore. However, over the years my now-teenage son has done a bunch of these camps. Some of them were better than others, but our experience has always been positive, and I felt they were run well. |

| I haven't done a M-NPCC camp, but the local PG county rec center had a half day camp and all three of the camp teachers were regular elementary school teachers during the school year. |
