A FANTASTIC COOPERATIVE PRESCHOOL IN ROCKVILLE

We discovered Rockville Community Nursery School last summer and absolutely love it. See http://www.rcnscoop.org/ The cooperative format means parents are involved in the school (for example, you're the teacher's helper once a month) which is great for parents (you know what's happening in the classes, what your child is doing, how he/she is relating to other kids, etc). It's also great for the kids to see their parents involved in what they are doing. This has been great for us as well as for our child. The parent involvement and the fact that it is not a for-profit enterprise keeps tuition prices relatively low. It's in a beautiful park-like setting too. We would strongly recommend RCNS to anyone who is looking for a great preschool in Rockville. There are still some openings for the 2009-2010 school year for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

Are there still openings for a three year old? Anyone have any thoughts on this school?

I don't know if they have any openings, but I have several coworkers who have had their kids there for several years, and they just love it.
