| I went to my DC school this morning to drop off the parent questionnaire which came with the in-pool letter. I also included an art award. That's it. But when I got to the school they told me that all AAP papers went into the basket and that I needed to fill our a paper slip. The basket was labeled REFERRALS. The slip asked for name and if I had signed the referral form. I don't have a referral form! Was I supposed to fill one??? I asked the lady that works at the front office and she curtly replied she was not allowed to answer any AAP questions and that I just needed to follow the instructions. So I wrote: "I don't have a referral form" on the paper slip and placed it with the rest of the packets. As I was walking out I asked a mom if that were I was supposed to put the supporting materials and she said yes, just to make sure I signed the referral form or it wouldn't be valid. Now I'm freaking out, what referral form? |
| I believe the referral forms are for parents whose children are not already in-pool. Your child is. I doubt you screwed anything up, your child is already in pool. |
Are referrals evaluated at the same time as in-pool? I just don't want the support materials not attached to DCs file because it went to the wrong place. |
| If you are that worried, why not call the AAP office and ask them? |

Google helps:
http://www.fcps.edu/is/aap/packet/Fillable_AAPLevelIVReferralForm.pdf It is an optional form if your child is in the pool |
