Hela Spa

Has anyone used Hela Spa in G-town? Thinking about getting a facial and waxing there and wanted to know if anyone had experience with the place. Thanks!

I've been there a few times for facials, always during Spa Week, so they were cheap ($50). Hela also accepts the Spa Finder certificates -- You can buy $100 worth at Costco for $75. I would definitely recommend doing that. I think the facial is kind of average -- nothing to write home about. With the discounts, I don't mind, but I wouldn't pay full price at Hela. I haven't had waxing done there.

You didn't ask, but I'll share anyway: Waxing, I love Melissa at Blue Mercury just down the street, and for facials I like Lise Emond (liseemondaesthetics.com), the other way down M St. Another great facial place is McLean Face and Body. GREAT massages and facials. They (MF&B) also take Spa Finder.
