I have shoulder length blonde hair with highlights and want to try a new salon closer to home. I want to have someone do the cut and highlights at the same salon and am seeking recommendations. I am tired of the Georgetown salon "scene", in addition to the parking problems there.
Marta at Franz Sebastian Salon on St Elmo Ave in Bethesda. I have shoulder length baby fine hair -- she did a wonderful job. Parking lot at the end of the block. Great salon too!
I love Perez Salon in Friendship Heights - been going there since it opened and to the Rockville one before that.
If you're looking for no drama and just good hair, go to Remi at one80 on 13th & K, and Jeremy for color.

bella bethesda - boy sharp really did a nice cut, color and highlites for me. I've also used Tanya who is very good, too. I am so releievd to have finally found a salon and stylists that do a nice job. I have been salon hopping for 3 years now and had resigned myself to mediocre cuts and colors until now.
I have 20% off haircut referral card if you want to try them. There is a parking garage up the street and they will run out and feed your meter if you need it. Not pretentious at all. |

Ask for Lynn at Aveda in Bethesda on Bethesda Avenue. All of us in my office use her for haircut and highlights.
