| My 14 yo dd has very uneven breasts. There is a least a cup size difference. Is there any hope they will even out? Has anyone been through this? |
|
My breasts grew in very uneven - 2 cup sizes. They never evened out :-\
|
| I think uneven breasts are the norm rather than the exception. |
| Mine have always been one cup size different. It was the most pronounced during breast feeding. :/ |
|
I think everyone has one slightly larger than the other.
Mine are drastically different, exacerbated by the fact that I have a concave chest on one side. I wear padded bras and high neck shirts so it doesn't show. |
Yup. Get a bra for her that has a gel insert to even them out. |
| This is very very common. It's rare for a woman to have symmetrical breasts. Read up on it. |
If they are both growing, there is probably not an underlying medical issue. Most women have some sort of difference. |
| My daughter has developed one size D+ and one small B breast. We have tried different bras but really bras are not made for this vast difference. Has anyone with a teen with this issue had success with specific brands or styles of bras? Thanks! |
Wow, those are huge! Is she self conscious about boys checking her out? |
Boob job, seriously. |

Completely normal - left is almost always larger than the right. from wiki: Asymmetrical breasts common[edit]
Obtaining the correct size is complicated by the fact that up to 25% of women's breasts display a persistent, visible breast asymmetry,[46] which is defined as differing in size by at least one cup size. For about 5% to 10%[47] of women, their breasts are severely different, with the left breast being larger in 62% of cases.[47] Minor asymmetry may be resolved by wearing a padded bra, but in severe cases of developmental breast deformity—commonly called "Amazon's Syndrome" by physicians, may require corrective surgery due to morphological alterations caused by variations in shape, volume, position of the breasts relative to the inframammary fold, the position of the nipple-areola complex on the chest, or both.[48][49] |
+1 Don't make her wait - it won't even out. BTDT. |
| OP here. Dd is about an B on one side and a solid C on the other. We went bra shopping and she ended up with the "wear everywhere push-up bra" at PINK. They look absolutely even with her bra on. |
| I'm only a half size different, and with the size they are, it's not noticeable even without a bra (not that I can do anything without pain if I'm not wearing a bra). With that said, I was almost 2 sizes different at 13, and it was very noticeable. Now, my issue is the difference in shape... |
