Which fields? I've been in business for a long time (and have Ivy League university degrees) and, to be honest, the most successful business people I've observed tend to come from less "name-brand" schools. A savvy recruiter might well look for someone at the top of the class at such an institution versus a middler at a so-called top school.

Yup. These schools represent the places where recruiters get the biggest bang for their buck. One recruiting trip, lots of good students to interview. Means nothing about the relative merits of a candidate at a school on this list vs. students at any other.

Google actually found the opposite ... my friends son was being recruited to a big name school and the recruiter said, sure you can get an equal education elsewhere but recruiters are lazy.
