| I am in a wedding this summer wearing a dress that is an orange/coral color, empire waist & knee length. I'd like to be able to suggest some shoes to the rest of the bridal party before the rest of them vote to wear the dreaded dyable matching shoes. Any of you chic moms have any thoughts on colors and styles of shoes that are wedding appropriate and stylish and that I might actually want to wear again (the dress I will never wear again). Bonus points for pictures/links! |

Does everyone have to wear the same shoes? I was in a wedding last summer where we wore navy blue dresses (everyone picked out their own dress) and I wore gold sandals with a mid-height heel. I imagine gold sandals would go with your dress, too. These aren't mine, but they give you an idea of what I'm talking about:

I think having all the b'maids wear the same shoes is silly. Is it really a requirement? See if you can get the bride to change her mind.
Sorry this isn't helpful, just a rant from a 7 time bridesmaid with a closetful of ugly shoes (and dresses) I never wore again. But I wish you luck esp. in avoiding the dyes shoes, they are horrific! |
| metallic sandal for sure. |
| I was just married and could have cared less if the shoes matched. So, my MOH bought shoes at the bridal store and had them dyed to match the dress. The other two BMS had silver metallic sandals! They both looked really great with the dress. Try Zappos..they usually have lots. |
