WPSII % = what IQ?

Anonymous
We just got our 5 year old's WPSII scores back. The results were given as percentiles. I'm used to seeing IQ scores but have no idea what a 99.5% translates to. 130? 140?

Does anyone know of an online resource that I could look at to figure this out?

Thanks -- how do you know this? Is there a chart somewhere? I'd like to look at her subset scores also.

I think you can google IQ scores percentiles and find out.

The table I use is http://www.acposb.on.ca/conversion.htm. Use the Wechsler IQ column for Full Scale IQ and Index scores, the scaled scores column for subtests.

wpsii scores normally come with a number that is an IQ number -- it's the FSIQ, if I remember correctly. (There are a bunch of "composite score" numbers on the wpsii score sheet, including breakdowns of the full scale iq, verbal, reasoning, etc. )

Your tester should have returned this to you as part of your score report. If he/she didn't, call them and ask for it. You should get BOTH composite score reporting and percentile rank information as well as all info on raw score and scaled score conversions.
