Olney Synagogue and Daycare Recommendation

My husband and I just moved to Olney, Md. We're in our early/mid 30s and have a toddler. We heard about B'nai Shalom and Shaare Tefila congregations and, while we identify more with Reform, we have heard wonderful things about both of these Conservative synagogues. We are not sure that we are ready to join as members, but we are thinking of sending our toddler to daycare there so that we all can make friends and build relationships in our new community. Does anyone have experience with either or both of these congregations and/or day cares affiliated with them? We are looking for a safe, warm, friendly, and young-ish environment and one that certainly will provide an excellent daycare/preschool educational setting for our child. THANK YOU!
