The actor who played Gilbert in the Anne of Green Gables miniseries has died of a brain hemorrhage. He was only 48. I had such a crush on him as a kid.

My heart just dropped when I read the title of this post. I loved Gilbert so much - both in the books and the miniseries. So sad!!

Gilbert was my first crush! So sad to see. Sorry for his family to lose him so young.
