Just recently, I had a facial. Among the products "recommended" for my use at home was a vitamin serum (anti-aging) that was basically a vitamin A, C, E. I had done a bit of reading and found that these vitamins are key to reducing fine lines, preventing further damage, etc. (And, though I don't follow her religiously, Oprah had Dr. Oz on a few months ago and he said the same thing as I recall).
Anyway, I thought about maybe purchasing this serum but it was $135!!!
Anyone have a suggestions for something a bit less expensive? |

I use the Arbonne Serum with Vitamin C. It is about $49 retail. If you are interested in trying it email me at pcrichey@yahoo.com and I will give you 20% off your first order. And if you don't like it there is a 45 day money back guarantee.
I have been using it for about a year and am really happy with the way my almost 40 yr old skin looks. |
| Avalon Organics makes a vitamin C serum that I like, and I think it's only about 12 or 15 dollars, and available at Whole Foods. When I was looking for something affordable that also had A and E, I couldn't find anything. I agree that those are the magic three, and want to mention that gentle exfoliation is also critical. I'm 51 and look ten years younger. I also always wear sunscreen on my face and the backs of my hands, if nowhere else. |

Go to makeupalley.com. They have a skincare board - you'll have to set up a free account to read posts, read other members' notepads, etc. Do a search on "homemade vitamin C serums" - either someone will have posted a recipe, or you can see whose notepad contains a recipe.
I buy my CE serum, and it is expensive (so I won't recommend it since I see you're looking for something more economical), but you can get something just as good if you're willing to make it yourself. You can make homemade serum for very very little money. |
I use oil of olay anti-aging cream! it's wonderful!! I really can't tell the difference!!! The small cream starts around $10 bucks. good luck.
