Anthropologie furniture quality - any thoughts?

Anonymous
I'm thinking of ordering this sofa. Swatches for the different leather colors are not available, but I feel okay about that. I want a good sturdy, well-made sofa. Does anyone have experience with Anthropologie furniture? If so, what's your opinion of the quality?

Here's the sofa: http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/product/home-online-ex-furniture/32875395.jsp#/

That sofa is gorgeous! This probably won't be helpful but the furniture (floor models) I've seen in the store have always been super sturdy/solid pieces. Good luck, I'd love to furnish my whole home with pieces from anthro.

This was 5 years ago now, but I used to work at Anthropologie and we had a furniture seminar. All of their furniture is made by Lee Industries in North Carolina, it is fantastic quality. I have two chairs, one leather and one fabric that have withstood two rowdy boys for 4 years!

I would go in a store and ask a manager to speak to you about it, they often have more knowledge about it!

Love the sofa, dislike coldness of leather. Lee Industries makes good stuff.

I have a chair and some shelves and console. Great quality. I also have pieces from resoration hardware and west elm etc and the anthro pieces are built more solidly if that helps.

I went to the Lee Industries website and looked for sellers (I live in NC). It gave me Crate and Barrel and a few other places, but not Anthro. Wonder why that is. They carry some furniture at the store by me. I have been able to find things (mostly home accessories) listed on the anthro website for $$$$ for less $$$ when you buy directly from the source.
