Olay Regnerist Products

Anonymous
Olay Regenerist seems to be on the very top of several "best products" and "products that actually work" lists. Before I go out and buy them would love some opinions on whether or not current users agree the products work. I need an eye cream and some sort of face serum.

I broke out from one of the face creams - so be careful if you have sensitive skin. Maybe start with a small amount to test. I had to go to the dermatologist to get it cleared up

I also broke out. I didn't go to the doctor, but it took awhile to clear up.

I wonder if you can get a sample size.

I LOVE this product line. I can no longer afford my boutique products due to underemployment, so I started with a couple of Regenerist lotions from CVS.

The verdict is that they are not quite as good as the $70 a bottle MD Forte stuff, however, they DID make a visible difference in my skin clarity (I'm 41). The difference I think is that the Forte lotion is more 'powerful.'

Anyway, you will see a difference and for $17 a bottle vs. $70, that's worth it to me.

Are the Regenerist products actually better than their new Professional line? Does anyone have experience using the Professional products?

I just started using the Regnerist and I really like the texture and the fragrance. It also seems to be working on my fine lines, so I'm happy. I used to use Murad and Eliz Arden products but think that Olay works just as well.

I'm liking the Professional line so far, but I haven't used the Regenerist line. It's a good question to ask-- maybe Regenerist is just as good for a fraction of the price. They do say the chemical composition is different, but who knows...

Olay products make me break out, too.

Yes, me too... I have sensitive skin and for some reason, the Olay products are highly scented. They smell good, but the skin products make my skin itch.

FYI you can get Forte products online for less than at the docs. Try www.skinwest.com I use the III level and it's about $50. Still expensive, but it lasts a long time. I use Olay moisturizer, which seems fine.
