Bedskirt or boxspring cover?

| Currently our bed has neither. The box springs are ugly and I want to cover them up. The decor of the room is country style, but the style of the bed is more Shaker. Floral comforter. What are your thoughts? |

| I'd say box spring cover. I'm not a fan of bedskirts. |

| We've used a fitted sheet upside down over the box spring (to prevent a cat from chewing on the underside of the box spring). It looked nicer and was inexpensive. |
