What does your 7-year-old like to watch on TV?

All the Lego movies — there’s everything from Batman to Scooby Do

Movies on Disney +

If she’s going to be bed bound for days it’s better to get movies instead of just shows. The. 20 to 30 minute repetitive structure of shows can get really annoying.

Thanks for all the feedback! Surgery went great and she’s happily watching The Magic Schoolbus. She recognized the show from books she’s read at school.

Disney+ movies Zombies and Descendants were VERY popular in our house at that age.

I have a science, animal, and baking loving 8 year old. Great suggestions here already (Wild Kratts is REALLY good!), and a few others that I didn't see suggested yet are Junior Bake Off, the Who Was Show, and Hilda.

My almost 7 year old animal lover is into Spirit and Zoobomafoo.

I only let my 7 year old watch the PBS Kids app unsupervised. No ads, mostly educational. She really gets sucked into Odd Squad and Wild Kratts (great show about animals).

If she likes animals and you have Disney+ she will love the Magic of Disneys Animal Kingdom. My 7 yo loves it and there are tons of episodes all about the behind the scenes care of the animals by the vets and staff. I really enjoy it too.

Highly recommend Hilda on Netflix.

We are usually limited or no screen time. She’s seen a few movies but beyond that not much. We need to find some tv shows that will have her reasonable engaged. I don’t really have any preferences for it necessarily being educational. I need it to be age appropriate. I won’t be able to monitor content the entire time.

Her interests; science, space, baking, cooking, animals and (to an extent) robotics.

Her interest in movies seem to be more live action than animated.

Welcome all suggestions. Open to streaming services or any shows we can find on DVD if it’s a hit with your similarly aged kid.

TIA

Muster Dogs on Netflix!!!!

Dam

You are so salty this family doesn’t own a TV you reply “dam” (I think you meant
Damn) in response to a 7-year-old child’s surgery going well.

Izzy's Koala World is a huge hit with my seven year old.

Izzy Koala World and Nailed It might also be good pics on Netflix

My kids also like American Ninja Warrior Jr and Where’s Waldo on Peacock.

These are great suggestions!!
