What is it called when someone is unable to leave their dog behind?

Pp- so I guess I would call the owner who can’t leave their dog “An owner of a senior dog!”

Sounds like a good excuse to get out of things you don't want to do.

Super annoying is what I’d call it.

Aww. I get it. We do board our dog but I really miss him when we’re away!

Dogs are such a wonderful source of comfort, positivity, and love. They’re so cheerful and loving. If I could bring our dog on our travels, I would.

We have great friends who are very responsible and wonderful people. They have offered and anyone that knows them would likely think they’d be great pet sitters.

They leave the front door open wide when at our house while debating what to grab at a restaurant or store, despite the fact that we’ve mentioned that we can’t leave the door open that long with our pets (cats and dog) multiple times.

They’ll feed the dog anything because he looks like he wants a snack. Of course, he always looks like that. We’ve said no chocolate multiple times.

Just saying because you think they’re reliable pet care, doesn’t mean it’d definitely work with their particular pets.

I couldn’t care less about the reasons. No dogs are coming to our house for the holidays (or at any other time) so people who are invited can plan accordingly. If that means they don’t come, oh well. If that means they come and stay in a hotel they can’t actually afford, I don’t care.

We had people bring their new rescue dog to our house over the holidays and he was absolutely delightful. I'd have kept him for myself if I'd had the opportunity. What a character.

Or crazy

Or crazy in love.

We have adopted several mixed breed pups from local shelters. Some have separation anxiety so we never leave them alone for more than 2, maybe 3, hours at a time.

See, OP? This is your job.

Mature people keep their pets and their opinions to themselves unless asked to do otherwise.
