2. I think it’s legitimate to consider this. Lots of studies show more favoritism toward people (and their resumes) with familiar names. That said my children have slightly unusual names and one is mistaken for a more common name often. 3. Not on your list, but I’ve always liked Orli. |

Uh-dee-nah See-vahn But I know 2 Maytals and at least 1 Adina I would pick what you like. If they have to correct sometimes it’s ok (Lev is part of my dc’s name and for some reason people unfamiliar with the name, hear it as “love”. Not what I anticipated there are worse ways to mispronounce a name and at the end of the day it’s NBD. Too early to say if it bothers my kid but they have options if it does. |
