I have really long cycles and this cycle was super jumpy and I didn't see a temp spike during the time that my CBFM said that I was at a peak. So I thought that maybe I just had a surge but didn't ovulate, but then I started to check my thermometer against a couple of others and it turns out that my temps were significantly different on each thermometer. My broken thermometer (I think) is a CVS brand so I bought a new CVS brand and then I had a non basal thermometer that I was double checking. The variation was drastic. Example: 97.5, 97.58, 97.98. So shit, right? I have this crazy long cycle and I have no idea what my temps were. I changed my fertility friend chart to use my CBFM as my primary ovulatory sign and I'm 5 DPO. I'm still temping, but I'm wondering if its just useless at this point and I should just give up until I get my period again. If I'm not pregnant? But I can't be the only person that this has happened to, right? Anyone else? |
