| Anyone seen this? I'm wondering what age it is targeted to, and if it's any good. If anyone reading works for PBS, we really wish they would bring back Ruff Ruffman! |
My 7 year old really likes Odd Squad, and he is very aware of things that are considered too babyish. |
|
Fetch with Ruff Ruffman is on Amazon Prime.
My 9 year old likes Odd Squad. |

My 10 year old likes Odd Squad:

| My 6.5 and almost 8 year old LOVE Odd Squad. Sometimes the topics they cover pair up quite nicely with what they're covering in math. They also love Word Girl (another very well done PBS show). |
|
7 year old LOVES it.
And we're all singing "Up, down, left, right. I'm gonna move my feet tonight. And dance like nobody's watching." Need to download that song!! (Frequently changing words to "I'm gonna brush my teeth tonight.") |
|
My 6 year old loves the Odd Squad. We tape it on DVR.
|
I am singing that damn song, too! My 6 year old loves this show. We just discovered it a few months ago. My son mentions a lot of math stuff from the show. |
| My almost 7yo loves it! |
It's better than having that Potato song they sing stuck in your head. |
| My 9 yo loves this show too. It's kinda cute. I watch it with him in the morning. |
| I think it's weird but my kid seems to enjoy it. |
| My 8 year old DS loves it, has a season pass to record episodes. He also likes that song! |
| 4yo seems to love it, but don't think he completely understands it. |
|
We downloaded the PBS Kids app to DD's IPad - she loves Odd Squad. She is 6 and half.
I don't think there is much educational value to anything on PBS kids - but at least we know its a SAFE way for the kids to access entertainment the internet. But IF Odd Squad has value, it is in the "word problems" math it presents "I REALLY need to go to the mathroom!" DD's math homework seems to be mostly word problems (common core maybe?) |
