has anyone been to Hugo Salon in Kensington or Bella Bethesda?

I am trying to find a new place to get hair cuts and color and narrowed it down to these 2 places.

Too much attitude and posing at Hugo's. They cut my hair exactly as I told them I did not want it. I'll never go back.

I don't like the environment at Hugo's. It's not relaxing at all.

Some of the people who were there and were good went to Alchemy Salon on Colseville/Columbia Pike by the SS Trader Joe's. I really like that place.

I actually like Hugo's (although we have moved so it isn't convenient anymore). It is young but it doesn't bother me. Lindsey was my stylist but the last couple visits, I used otehrs and was still pleased.

Haven't been to Hugo's in years but I thought the place sucked. Got a recommendation from my some girls in my office when I was in my early 20s. I went there, and after a few times of not really digging it, (Hugo himself would cut my hair) I ended up leaving the place in tears one day. He totally disregards what you say (and I'm pretty general - I just say things like not super short and no bangs). I then realized all the girls in my office who went to him had the SAME EXACT HAIRCUT! Guess that's why he was disregarding what I said. He seemed to have a formula.

Also, there were always like 3 girls in ridiculous outfits standing around watching my haircut, I guess he was "mentoring" them. It felt odd.
